Who am I, what am I doing NOW, and why should you care?

This is how photoshoots actually turnout on a windy day.

This is how photoshoots actually turnout on a windy day.

Hey! I'm Erin.

If you've been following me for a while, you've probably noticed some changes. And if you're new, you deserve an introduction. :)

In a nutshell, I'm a designer to the stars.

Top-Shelf Branding + Graphics across your entire business from your teeny profile image on Twitter to your entire website.

I'm building my empire to supports movements of thought leaders all over the world.

And it's so freaking COOL.

I get to create and deliver amazing branding materials to further the message of all the change that is happening right now. All this stuff you're experiencing (and teaching) about how to think differently, to be differently, to shake up what you've been told and to create some thing TOTALLY NEW on your terms.

I'm here to support that.

I love doing this work because I get to connect with really powerful minds who are furthering their own movements. And everyone's purpose is so unique.

I get to see what you're about and I get to share your vision for change. And then I get to put it all into badass imagery that makes you so excited you want to pee your pants.

Some questions that have come up:

Q: HOW DID YOU GET HERE?
A: I'm an artist. I've always been an artist. I'm the doodler in meetings who can barely see her notes because she's turned them into shapes and patterns. I still have my paints and canvases from college.

Q: WHAT ABOUT COACHING?
A: Coaching is still here. But it looks different now. Probably. See? This is all just one big crazy experiment with your life - and you owe it to yourself to PLAY AROUND and see what works.

Q: DIDN'T YOU LEAVE YOUR JOB IN DESIGN BECAUSE XYZ?
A: Totally yes. I left the world of corporate design because I was bored out of my mind and it was meaningless. Big life changes (having a kid, experiencing trauma, giant realizations, etc) will rearrange all your priorities and suddenly what you thought you wanted is obsolete.

So why should you care?

(Other than obvious reasons like having a killer brand strategy across all your platforms that makes everyone go "ooooohhhh.....")

All my life I've experienced both sides of a coin that I have my own mission to change: that the "arts" are not seen as valuable. They're "extra" .... and so schools go unfunded, programs get cut, and freelancers believe they can only charge $20 an hour (go peruse etsy for 5 seconds).

As a result there's an entire world of creative people out there (formerly me) that think they're a WASTE.

"Why do I have this talent if it's not going to support me?"
"I'm destined to struggle"
"I wish I liked math so I could at least be an accountant and make some money"

And you know what else sucks but is TOTALLY 100% true?

Kids that aren't good at regular school often shine in the arts, but they aren't given a chance. They grow up feeling stupid, trying to prove themselves the rest of their lives.

It's a broken system all around - and I'm on a mission to change it. That's the big picture here.

AND JUST LIKE YOU....

All I want is to make a difference while I'm here. To have a purpose beyond the day-in day-out boringness and find happiness. I want to be challenged every day and grow. Without it I get really bored with my life. Lots of creative people do. You owe it to yourself to be excited every day to do something you love that is meaningful AND actually makes you rich beyond your wildest dreams.

I want to inspire others to go for it - whatever it is. I want everyone to know that they don't have to be held captive to a life that's unsatisfying and that they have the power to change it.

I want the world to change for the better - mostly for my kids and grandkids. I want them to have every opportunity to do what they want, to find happiness, to have the world at their fingers.

So that's me.

Designer. Difference Maker. And total Dork (see photo at top)

I'd love to hear about you. Drop me a comment or shoot me an email. I always reply back :)
