(even if you have no talent or experience)

You Can Learn How to Draw

I know you loved to draw as a kid. You drew on everything! You were born with this amazing gift of confidence and creativity. And it was always a masterpiece in your mind.

But somewhere along the way, someone told you it “sucked” or you compared yourself to an artist with more skill than you.

Others tried to help you (even art teachers), “Just keep trying! Keep practicing! You’ll get it.”

But you did try and practice, and it never got better.
You didn’t feel like you were making progress.
How many more boring still life drawings would it take to get good at this?

You felt defeated, talentless, and lost all confidence in something you used to love.

If you’ve ever wanted to learn how to draw realistically, but felt frustrated about how to make it look good, this is for you.

At least once a week I hear someone just like you say:
“I can’t draw”
“I’ll never be good at this”
“I’m not that talented”

When what you're really feeling is more like:
“I wish I could draw”
“I wish I was good at this”
“I wish I was talented”

I’ll let you in on a secret:
Anyone can learn to draw.

Even if you have little or no previous experience, you don't believe you have natural talent, or you've tried before and it didn't work.

Hi, I’m Erin, and I've been an artist most of my life. But I didn't start out that way.

I was just like other kids. The only difference was I happened to doodle on every notebook and scrap paper I saw. I was obsessed with drawing (horses to be specific) but that didn't make me talented.

Our art teachers would often place art supplies in the middle of the table and tell us “to draw.” There was no instruction on HOW to do it or help on improving.

It wasn't until I found a teacher who broke down all the drawing fundamentals to help me make sense of it. Once I learned the foundational principles, everything I created started to look better and better.

With more practice, THEN I got very good, very fast.

I finally understood how shapes, lines and light all came together to create the illusion of something real. I learned there was a science to this practice that made everything so much easier.

Everyone thinks I have natural skill, but the truth is, I just learned the tricks of the trade.

I see many passionate people frustrated with their drawing abilities. Art is something that they LOVE to make! But they become discouraged by their lack of skills or success.

When you don't know how to make it better, or you don't know what you’re doing wrong, you eventually give up, move on and abandon a very important piece of yourself.

Sound like you?

It feels hard and you can't ever to get it to look right

What you see in your head doesn't match what your hand draws on paper

Everyone seems to be "better "at it than you

You feel embarrassed and never want to show off your work

You've decided you suck at drawing, sketching, or even doodling because:

It's not your fault.

Drawing is a learned skill, not a talent. Just like riding a bike or learning to spell.

(And we all sucked at that before we learned how to do it.)

Good news!

There are a handful of universal rules of drawing that, if you learn them and use them, you CANNOT fail.

Finally, you can learn how to draw realistic, 3-dimensional renderings and have fun along the way.

You know what else is great?

It doesn't take a long time to learn, and you don't need to have any experience. All you need is a pencil, paper, and a willingness to tap into your hidden artistic abilities.

Give me an hour a week and I’ll show you exactly how to become the artist you always wanted to be. You’ll build confidence around your skills, increase your success in finished drawings, and feel inspired to create again.

Create 3-Dimensional drawings starting from simple shapes and building up to everyday subjects like trees, buildings, even people.

Use the Rules of Drawing to create the illusion of depth in any drawing.

Feel more confident in your artistic abilities and see fast improvement.

Have fun with your art (a cornerstone to the creative process).

Here's everything we'll cover:

This is not a still-life class like in high school where you look at a pile of objects and draw for 30 minutes, only to see a bunch of scribbles on your paper that you hate.

This is not a class where I tell you to “just keep trying” and do it 100 more times to get it.

No! This course is a set of specific methods and fundamental rules that were discovered and refined during the Italian Renaissance. These methods have enabled artists to draw in 3 dimensions for 500 years.

Sure, you could figure it out on your own over a long period of time with trial and error, 5000 mistakes, and an iron will, but why reinvent the wheel when it already exists?

(And, haven’t you already tried that?)

This is a set of specific methods and fundamental rules that were discovered and refined during the Italian Renaissance, 500 years ago.

I've designed this course to be the foundational teachings you need that will apply to any other art classes you take in the future.

These drawing fundamentals help you better understand dimension and depth, and guide you in expressing that illusion on paper.

I've also purposely built each module to help you see results quickly and easily, allowing this to be FUN instead of frustrating.

You can utilize this course whether you prefer traditional pencil drawing, charcoal, chalk, pastels or drawing digitally (an iPad or tablet for example).

- The beginner or budding artist
- Those who want to learn or improve basic drawing skills
- Anyone with a desire to unlock their inner artist & build confidence
- The person who is seeking a way to express themselves more fully

Who it’s for:
